N/A New to PCP air rifles and looking for input on purchase

What distance will you be shooting. I have a Dreamlite and have been very happy with it. It has been flawless right up until yesterday. I think the regulator finally let go. Eventually happens to them all.

You mention being on a ranch. Just my opinion but the fx guns are a little more on the delicate side as far as knocking them off zero. If the rifle will be used as a ranch tool and bounced around in a truck for shots of opportunity there might be some more robust options.

i will be at a distance no greater then 85 yards i would say. and not being tosssed around on my atv or anything.

Is noise an issue? Or money? Air guns aren't cheap by the time you get everything acquired to get them to work. I noise isn't an issue then a .17hmr will take care of most of your issues. Might even do a coyote. My FX Mavericks .22(500mm) and .25 (600mm) both do 100 yards and ground squirrels well.
Noise is no issue. I would like to stay under 2k for total package.

Look at this five shots group I just made at 90 yards:
