I have . 22 sidewinder less then 300 rds thru it. last night filled with air and this morning it's lost half of the yellow on the pressure gauge . Is there a seating period for seals?

Unfortunately, no. Elastomer seals (O-rings and such) have no break-in period. Sometimes a hard seal like the valve stem/poppet will not seal 100% when at low pressure such as when charging up from zero pressure, but will seal once a few hundred PSI is acting against it.
If there is any good news, the leak is fast enough that it shouldn’t be hard to find.

If left uncocked, the hammer can sit against the valve causing a leak. Try cocking it and let it sit to see if it still leaks.

Just a thought, "half of yellow" means little, post a picture or share some numbers. Any PCP will show less air pressure on the gauge after cooling down post filling. WM

Good point. The bottle gets warm . Don't have gun here but I think there is about 1650psi in the yellow. 3000psi to 4650 psi.

Semi auto so no cocking to be done.
Anyways yeah sound like you have a decent leak. If it's half then it's what 800psi overnight.
