I am looking to purchase my first pcp rifle and I understand that there are several ways to charge a PCP rifle. ( SCUBA tank, Carbon fiber tank, Hand Pump, or Compressor). I know that the carbon tanks have a german style thread with an o ring. I have access to several SCBA tanks that look similar to the tanks I've seen on other websites, the only difference I've seen are the threads. What kind of adapter would I need to make these tanks compatible? Please forgive me if this has already been discussed.

Nothing to forgive bud! It's a common question and it's better to ask than to get it wrong.
For SCBA (firefighting) tanks, you'll start with a CGA-347. From there it should turn into 1/4" NPT and you can do whatever you want.
Most quality fill setups are going to run you somewhere in the $100 range. DIY often ends up the same as well.
