New to PCP

Good day All. I am new to PCP. I am a long time shooter.
I bought my first rifle. FX maverick.25 cal. Slug kit. Heavy barrel. My question is does the FX Maverick bottle use a special “Fx” valve? Can I buy any carbon fiber bottle?

I am not an expert in FX but as far as I understand FX bottles have a valve.

You can buy fx bottles that come with the valve already installed, or you could buy both separately. Utah airguns carries them, Palm Beach airguns carries them.

So the FX line of rifles does have a proprietary valve for the air bottle?

Yes, the FX bottles need a certain valve that fits the valve thread on the rifle.

FX bottles have a standard female threaded section for the FX valve to screw into. Places like Talon Tunes sell naked bottles and valves separate if you want to switch things around.

Great info. I bought a Airmarksman FX valve and a Tuxing 580 CC carbon fiber bottle.
Total 210.00
