Cool. I started out working on Soldier Weapon Systems outta Picatinny, ended up retiring building SM-2's for the "boys in blue," outta Indian Head. Nice to meet cha.

I also have an SL30 and mine seems to shoot the 45 gr. AEA pellets the best and is getting over 1000 fps velocity.

Truthfully, I don't really know. I plan to just punch holes in paper and read and read some more. Not too wrapped up about which is best. Just interested in getting my feet wet, first.

I hang around on Gunbroker.com looking mostly at auctions.
Really nice Marauder selling soon, well done wood stock.
Older rifles can go fairly cheap, picked up an FX Bobcat .30 a while back.
O'rings were shot, once I fixed all that it is a great rifle.
