New to the hobby.....

Truthfully, I don't really know. I plan to just punch holes in paper and read and read some more. Not too wrapped up about which is best. Just interested in getting my feet wet, first.
I hang around on Gunbroker.com looking mostly at auctions.
Really nice Marauder selling soon, well done wood stock.
Older rifles can go fairly cheap, picked up an FX Bobcat .30 a while back.
O'rings were shot, once I fixed all that it is a great rifle.

Another one is GunEngine.com, you can search the prices of a lot of dealers

Howdy folks. Diesel here. New to the hobby and just wanted to introduce myself. I just jumped into the PCP realm and purchased a Umarex Gauntlet SL30. I've got ALOT of experience with the real thing(s) but none with the airgun side. I'm old and retired now, so I just want to get into punching holes in paper with the occasional small game hunting. I'm a 3X GWOT Veteran and also worked as an engineer for DOD. The Army's new weapons selections were programs I worked on prior to my retirement. So... (shrugs) I guess, there's that.
Alright, looking forward to getting to know you folks and learning some good stuff. Stay warm out there, it's snowing it's ***s off right now!
