New to this forum

Here is a new guy who is trying to build 10 posts and asks a question about how to air up his gun you guys savage him, along with the moderator. Sad!
Thank you for stepping in. I made an attempt to build up ten post on Monday and still was shot down by several keyboard warriors. I'm extremely busy with everyday life, I do not have the knowledge of airguns to startup any intellectual conversations, so I asked some simple questions seeking help and knowledge and I still get flak. I am no expert on airguns. However I am a retired Veteran with 28 years service in the US Navy and US Air Force. So maybe some of you people can cut me a little slack.

Welcome aboard shipmate. I retired with 22 years split between the Marines and Navy. Just be patient and find one of the many different forums here in which you are comfortable and build your reputation. I have no idea why there are a few members who are so fearful of scammers that they treat otherwise good guys as potential scammers when they first show up mentioning selling something on the classifieds. I am relatively new myself, and have have bought several guns and accessories off the classifieds and have never encountered a scam.

Well, (down South means be careful a LONG story may be coming, but not the case on this post) I'll really try and help you at least once. Being old school and all and having heard Roz Sumpter say so many times- like right after selling a National championship winning rifle for pennies- "well you've got the be nice to keep the new ones coming back". You may just be "blown away" (that's a air joke eh?) by ALL the advantages airguns provide and NEED everyone you have access to as a start to you new fun!
I wont even hold it against you for phrasing it "real firearms" as no shortage of former powered burners here."Air"guns are Not what you grand daddy had!
Sure no powder (stuff smells bad anyway) and "only" an airgun but 4400fpe -no typo- makes a .308 sound a bit wimpy. Hey and folks DP have "old" collectables, and for good reason. Such fine utility, beauty,..... . Can most really hit a MOA target at at 1,400 yards with anything air or otherwise?(see Huben 24 airgun). Get much real rigger time at 2 cents of less per shot?
So, you have an FWB 800 you might wish to try once (ya once LOL, ever see a tiny group? Like good triggers? Ever had one?) . Now a 1st- or otherwise- post might be have an FWB 800 some gear and some questions. Heck I believe there was a recent post by someone who was in the exact same position you are in. Not the mosted loved 1st post and all. Also believe after he posted a bit asking questions and such (hey and do stay away from picture DUMPS but a picture of the FWB and accessory's you have asking what the heck you might need would be great we love pictures and have knowledge. ) thinking he sold them ALL at once after a few weeks. Personally I would have damn sure kept several of the ones he sold but no matter.
Don't know phones but on a lap top in the upper right corner is a Search box, (and use the drop downs most times). I tried typing "FWB 800" and things came up. I also did an internet search of "FWB 800 PDF" and the 1st link was naturally a forum supporting dealer (aka"PA") which provides you with:https://www.pyramydair.com/airgun-r...werkbau-Model-800-air-rifle_owners-manual.pdf
Nice of them to support the forum so it's free to us. If you whole post was just about your FWB (the common used abbreviation in the airgun world for your rig) I likely could tell ya whatca need.
Now the amount of 1st hand information Everyone here has (and sure filter out some duff but overall) is staggering. I've been using all manner of pre-charged airguns (aka pcp's) since the late 80's and still learn stuff. Take advantage of that. You may well learn something you have access to you WANT for yourself!

Well, I promised short so.
Try a real airgun! You just might like it!

Looking forward to some of those there "quality" (and there are no dumb questions in airguns with new folks) posts of yours.

John
Hello John,

Thank you for your feedback. No disrespect with the term "real guns". A friend of mine is heavily into air guns. When I told him about what was dumped into my lap he wanted to be the first guy to see them. We also shot some lead at his range. I was very impressed with what some of these airguns can do. He wanted several of mine and purchased two very nice Daystate's, one was the MK4 Platinum. a couple of BroCock's and FX. Attached is the FWB 800.
Cheers,
Chuck

After high school I went right into the Navy Submarine program. At the time my girlfriend didn't want me to re enlist and unfortunately I got out. The sub force was an easy place to advance in rank if you stayed out of trouble. I went into the telecommunications industry for 12 years, then joined the Air National Guard as an AGR, retired from there in 2014.

No worries about terms fro me.
So you had a friend who knows airguns and "just wanted to see" LOL I am shocked. Airgun folk are like that! That FWB should be an example of a good airgun trigger, did you get to fire that one yet?
And let me guess, your friend would like to buy even more of them if the money was on hand? Did I come close?

Thanks for the picture, more money on hand and I would take care of that one for you. Nice of you to help find them good homes.
Being a bit of an airgun freak I just have to say, we live in WA (you know just in case) and would love to be the second person to look at a few!

Best wishes to you & yours,
John

Hey John

He did more than see, he purchased 7 or 8 and has no shortage of spending money. Never married, retired airline pilot. The FWB still has just under 100 bar so I have shot a couple of pellets. I want to give it a full charge to make sure it has no leaks.

The guy asks a question and then ignores the correct and complete responses. Not a good start for a new guy.

Conversations work like that.

Question
Answer

If you don't understand the answer, then ask for clarification. Do not ignore the efforts that unknown people on the anonymous web take to give those answers.
Well actually I did answer two of them. However I'm not going to respond to the keyboard warriors who only wanted to chime in to make worthless comments. I far too busy for drama. Fact is I have some decent airguns, I'm not looking to get rich over them and willing to let these go at a good price.

If you already had a friend who knew so much about airguns why did you need information from us, plus sounds like hes buying the collection..since he has money to burn your problem is solved before it even started.

My friend Dave doesn't know everything about all air guns. He suggested finding a forums page to seek knowledge and guidance. so here I am. He has a cheap amazon compressor with fittings to charge the rifles he already owns. He purchased what he needed to charge the Daystates and the others he bought from me from Air Guns of Arizona. He does not own any Feinwerkbah guns, nor does he have any knowledge of them. Therefore he has no idea what is needed to charge this 800 rifle. He bought what he wanted. Should I force him to buy more? LOL

I hope I satisfied your questions.
