I would like to see a New Topics option to go along with the New Posts function. New Topics would show a subset of New Posts that only included newly started threads and not replies to existing threads.

If your concern is posting on a thread you already commented on the overall page of the section shows the OP icon with a smaller version of your icon indicating you’ve commented on that post previously.

Idk about OP's intentions, but I think it would be nice because posts that don't get commented on pretty quickly get buried pretty fast. If we had an option to sort by new topics, I think it would be quite nice.

No, not concerned about what I've commented on or followed. I would just like to see the new threads that have been started without all the other threads that have been commented on but not started since I last marked everything as read, i.e. new threads only, not all new posts.

This, or if there was a function to restack the ppsts so that posts with no comments that are over a week old get put back on top for a limited amt of times.
