I placed this on a Brocock Commander xtr .177 and was very surprised that it was quieter than my Weihrauch I liked it so much I just bought a .25

They used to thread on via a 1/2" unf adapter now the adapter is in a snap lock system which allows you to move the moderator from one gun to the next by a quick disconnect system... quite handy. i only have one in .177 so i don't own additional adapters (yet).
