New toy Fx Impact mk2

I finally sold few pcp's to help finance Impact.

I have a question for impact specialist's.

Rifle is. 22 cal from factory it was set to around 75-80 bar power wheel on max and valve on 3 lines.it was shooting JSB 18 gr at 850.I was able to adjust it to around 880 fps with valve adjuster .

That was max power at that presure. I then increased reg.prresure according to fx manual 1/4turn counter clickwise at a time. Then shoot over chrony and repeat proces untill I reached 100 bar on regulator.

The point is the speed did not increased with higher reg prresure it is even lower with hammer at max and I tried to adjust valve to 4 line and further out. Do I have a problem? I am waiting for JSB slugs and I am a little woried if I can't even get 18 gr JSB to around 900 fps.

I would suggest you shoot it a couple weeks to break it in sort of speak. They come from factory shooting a particular weight pellet for the caliber with great efficiency and accuracy right out of the box. Then study the mechanics/operation of the gun and ask a lot of questions before trying to tune it. Most problems with Impacts begin with user error. Just a suggestion as thats what I did over 3 years ago and have thousands of shots through mine with never having to replace a single O ring. Oh yeah congratulations on a great new gun!

Thanks everyone that video helped alot. I didn't know that hammer spring can also be adjusted with screw next to power wheel.Fx impact owners manual is missing that.

Thanks also to Fx usa for wanting to help.

Everything is ok now i have it adjusted to 900 fps with 100 bar and adjusting hammer spring screw few turns. Valve is a little over 2 lines and I can't miss 3/4 inch spinner at 50 m with wind hold about half MD.

Very nice product.

If your happy with it, leave it. But tuned like the videos, mine was shooting 18's at 950 75 bar. Valve adjustment turned into third line to bring it down to 925. Check the speed of your first couple shots after the gun has sat for an hour.

Absolutely. But you have to start over the whole process. Backing off the hammer spring, valve and reg pressure. Then work your way back up. Its the easiest way and you won't get lost with your adjustments. With the way your set up now, i think you may have the first couple shots a bit slower than your average after sitting for a while. Try a couple shots over the chronograph after it has sat a while.

Will do that and I understand it will probably be better if I start at lower presure and adjust it to max power with given presure and if I don't get the speed I wan't adjust reg 5 bar higher and repeat untill I get the results I wan't. But I won't be shooting 18gr but .25 gr JSB knockout slugs and for them I will probably need even higher presure maybe 130 or so bars. I will get them in a week.

Thanks Rj
