Hello all! I just ordered my first PCP....a Umarex Notos. I should have it in about a week or less and can't wait to start tinkering with it to make it better and as quiet as I can.
I have already been searching the site for helpful information, and boy does this site have alot of great information.
I look forward to being part of the Nation and having a load of fun with my Notos.

Contact member Sierra Tango when you get posting priveliges. Get a moderator insert and one or 2 of his Big Air mags. Remember the higher the round count on the mags, the higher your scope may have to be to clear it (I went 12 rounds). Eventually, you may want a printed fore grip. I got one off Fleabay. If you round the tip of the trigger screw or buy a roller tip screw like I did, you can get the trigger quite nice. The very best thing you can do is go to the top of the home page where you see the Search magnifying glass, type in Umarex Notos, hit <Enter> and read every post you can. Enjoy your Notos, best $330 (total investment) I spent on airguns and I got my first in 1997.

Thanks guys...and gals(?). Great info like I thought. Yeah, I plan on just shooting it for a while to get used to and and definitely break it in...making sure no issues....then get to playing. I definitely want to get a for grip for m-lok and picca.....add 2-piece bypods and possibly a light/laser....night varmints. Also have to pick a good scope.....any suggestions?

Hey Bob, I just ordered my first PCP, too. I also looked at the Notos but got a gauntlet 2 in .22 caliber instead. The Notos is a good choice, I would like to hear your thoughts about it after you get a chance to shoot it for a bit.

Take a look at Armstrong Enterprises. He has a couple scopes that are inexpensive and have really clear glass. He's a small operation and is involved with the Appleseed program (teaches youngsters how to shoot and history of our nation). I have 1 of each scope mounted to my .22LR rifles. I can see holes in paper easily at 100 yards shooting the .22lr. https://armstrong-enterprises-llc.square.site/s/shop
