New YH Compressor.

I went ahead and bought the New Cooling tube. Either way, it should not hurt the Warranty. Gotta wait 10 days though.
I would still contact shipper and see what THEY want to do. The warranty thru Square Trade or seller? Hang tight, my back up GX CS2 was a mess with rust and misdrilled fitting until sorted out... I did order new gauge for my YH, 3 weeks on the slow boat for $22.

I did the Quick connects, even used a plug, but it didn't produce. I kept the Water pump running, and it seemed like it was heating up very quickly as well. And I have a 10 gal tank of water.
Don't buy another. I had 3, the quality and assembly torque(or not) vary a bit too much. The amount of oil and water they put out was too much for me. If you aren't filling an scba I can speak pretty highly of the little orange shoeboxes. I realized how much I spent on 3 of those water cooled oil eaters and decided to save for a big chinesium clone and it's rad.

I am seeing absolutely zero evidence of oil nor water from my pure Chinesium Yong Heng clone, I checked my big gold filter after filling my 4.5 liter bottle twice and doing several gun fills. The filter media is 100% pristine and new with an hour or two of run time on it. I started with synthetic compressor oil, changed that out and oil was very dark almost black. I suspect the bearings are Polymer. I switched to Ingersoll-Rand synthetic oil they double the warranty on their compressors if their synthetic oil is used. I've not ever been disappointed by an IR product. So far so good with El Cheapo my 150 buck PCP compressor. Yes, shipping included.

I'm glad you've had a positive experience and that you use at least a compressor oil. I'm not sure of the specs on the oil for our purposes re ignition etc, but it's you're call and not mine. Much better than putting vegetable oil in it as ive seen elsewhere 😁. Heck I used hydraulic oil initially because dive oil was like 25 dollars a quart. Then I got into hotrod trucks and learned what 15 quarts of horsepower rated synthetic automatic transmission fluid costs and stopped worrying about pcp oil costs. The hit and miss quality control is the price we pay for affordable import compressors, again I'm happy you got a good one.

It is quite surprising actually. As you stated the key is getting a good one. I'm a believer in using expensive oil, even in cheap products. Perhaps more so in cheap products. I think a very early oil change is warranted on these pumps. I pictured the filter I drained the oil through earlier, black oil with little sparkles in it, no big sparkles  I will run the pricey IR synthetic for 5 hours and change it out again, I won't bother filtering it again. I'll need to fill my 4.5 liter today as I had the Blitz out to play yesterday, mag dumps even make the ladies smile.

My infeed air is ultra dry from my instrument air system. I have an old dental compressor system that makes -150 F dewpoint air @ 10 microns filtration. ElCheapo is on a very good "diet" regulated to around 5-7 PSI. It's our wet time of year here Oct-May. No moisture at all when I vent it down, filter is bone dry too. So far so good, I need to make my plumbing and such more permanent now that I have it all sorted. PEX to the rescue fast easy and approved for compressed air service, heck I think there is a color for air. My bench needs an airline too.

If you have an air dryer on the front end that goes a long way! Dessicant or refrigerated?

I'm sure you have a slight leak in one of the fittings or the hose. I recommend you buy a spray can of CRC leak detector and spray it on the fittings as the compressor is running. It doesn't take much of a leak to prevent pressure buildup. I chase leaks all the time. Another dead give away is the fittings on the hose and foster fittings. If they feel cold, then they are leaking.

I mentioned earlier that I found a tiny crack in the Metal tubing underneath right in the Bend of the tubing. I went ahead and ordered one. It will take 10 or more days to get it. Man, I wish someone here in the States would stock the parts.

Or a busted reed/stuck check valve. Crc leak detector should be in every pcp toolkit. There's cheap/free ways.... This stuff is just too convenient.
