Tuning New yong heng leak.

Tightening didn't stop leak. Looked

online other gaskets have cutout for reed. Is this normal or bad quality control.

Mine was the same, and did not leak. When I rebuilt it, the new gasket was cut out around that reed valve. I haven’t even tried it since the rebuild because I have a new, much better compressor. With the cut-out, it leaves a pretty small shoulder on the gasket. Also, mine originally had some sealer on both sides of that gasket.

Same thing happened to mine, I just made a gasket. No biggie.

I have some spare gaskets they all have the cutout for the reed valve there. I'd just go to an autoparts store get some gasket paper and make my own.

Went to Napa. Problem fixed.made gasket. One heat cycle with valves open. Then ran ice water and retighted head. Fills fast to 4000 psi. Runs like a champ.
