New Zulus won’t power on?

Well, my new ZulusHD 5-20X LRF arrived today! I charged the included batteries, installed one, pushed the power button…and…. nothing….

Battery is in correctly. If I plug the charging cord into the scope, I get the red light indicating it’s charging.

I’m hoping I’m just missing something. Any ideas?

Yeah - I have to hold it down on my old 1st gen sightmark wraith - gotta hold it for 2 or maybe 3 seconds. Same when powering it off.

I have been using mine for over a week now and tonight I noticed that if you don’t have your phone 18” or closer the WiFi doesn’t do very well and the same thing when you are downloading I can watch the download speed slow down when I move it away

Battery show a full charge?

Yes, I checked it with a battery tester and it shows good.

Look in the battery tube and make sure it doesn’t have anything in it

Sorry about your troubles.
I'm unable to connect via Wi-Fi to phone and the images are nothing like videos I've seen.
I guess at least mine turns on.
Email response with Arken via the "info" address can be almost instant esp. at 2am or can take three days. The after sales email at bottom of Arken site page seems to be the one for returns.
As many products as they sell I can't believe they don't communicate by phone at all.
The ep-5 isn't all the hype says it is. If it is lots of folks are wasting big money on those $1000 scopes they compare them to. Not to mention how heavy they are.
I can read letters on the target at 100 yds better with my Blackhound Genesis and Aimsport Alpha 6 that cost less.
I hate to trash a company on the public forums but I'm not impressed with the Zulus or ep-5 I received.
Arken is looking into firmware issues with Motorola phones which is good. I'm still going to have to return because the night image is pretty much useless.

Arken sent me an email to do a review on a product that I am still waiting for I said that I would do a review if they would send me what I ordered
