Newb Question, Is it possible to pump up a suba tank with a 3 stage hand pump?

It's possible 👍

Ok. For someone who hates pumping their guns to 200 bar. They want to go and pump a tank that 300 bar and higher capacity. Makes perfect sense lol. Anything is possible. Can you help pump my 75 cf tank too while you're at it?

LOL, I just really don't want to spend the money on a compressor.

But you are right.

Is there no SCUBA or paintball shop nearby?

You could, but why? You'll probably hate it more than just pumping up the gun. I did the same with my first PCP. I'm a fit individual but it still got old quickly. I like to shoot, a lot. So went with a bottle, then got tired of driving to get a fill. Purchased a compressor and now I just shoot. I still hand pump my Crosman 1701p (2900 psi) though. Maybe one of the inexpensive Yong Hen compressors to directly fill your gun?

Yes there is. I live in Florida, they are everywhere. Refills are cheap too. Now I feel stupid, LOL

What do I need as far as valves and hose, ect..?

Bro let me tell you now.

I got into this around 2008. I started with a junk springer. Went to a Discovery, a Marauder, a Greg Davis Marauder with a 23.75" LW, 2 AZ Rapids, fast forward 150+ AG's later, 10 Marauders, 3 DAQ, Bowman, Hailey, EDgun, Daystate, FX, Threoben on & on. My latest buy is a FWB300S Match.

I love shooting. I love obtaining the best group I can. I really don't care much if it's at 20 yards with a FWB or HW30, or 300 with a .257. It's about the same thing as a new dog or a old favorite. If you're going to be into airguns on any serious level, I would suggest getting a good compressor now. I'm not selling anything. Just saying I don't even enjoy firearms so AG & Archery are my only groups. Don't even hunt anymore.

I guess you have to ask yourself if you want to shoot PCP's & slugs or just pellets and decide on if you really need a compressor. If you think you're going to stick around, buy a good compressor. A Bauer, a Alkin, something you can grow with.

If you are in the LOL area I can hook you up with some fills. I just got an Alkin and it needs work to pay for itself. 😃

Take the time you'd spend pumping in extra time working. And before you know it a cheap compressor is at your doorstep.

From there you shoot way more and be happier while shooting. And then one fine day you have saved enough for a reliable 2k$ compressor and vill have all the air you need for the rest of your life. Oh and you can sell that "extra" air you know?

I'm new to pcp and I hate pumping up my gun to 200 bar. Could I pump up a suba tank with my 3 stage hand pump and use it to fill my gun?

I think that when you consider how LONG it'll take to pump up a SCBA tank to 300 bar (and it will hold a heck of a lot more air that your gun), and then how quickly you'd drain that tank as you filled your gun(s), you'd soon chunk that hand pump and buy a compressor.

Ha, I once thought I was being industrious when I used a Benjamin hand pump to pump up my .22 FX Royal 400 (it took a while) - I then I shot it out in a few minutes - and bought me a compressor and never have regretted it.

It will take a long time to fill that SCUBA up the first time for sure. But the number of pumps should be about equal to hand pumping just the gun once you get into your guns operating range.
