Tuning Newbie Alert - Can someone confirm Caliber Change on FX air guns?

So this is my first post wee.

I wanted to know what the minimum requirements were for changing the caliber on an FX Dreamline but keep the same barrel length I.E. 600mm, Could you just change the insert, magazine, and bolt probe or would you need to buy the full barrel kit which would give you an additional metal sleeve, shroud, and the other aforementioned parts?

that you have mentioned but also

You would need to include the barrel attachment which holds the barrel at the rear, and has locktight applied so must be heated to be separated. The barrel liner slides into this part and screws into the brass barrel port which you would need also.

The barrel lock that holds the barrel, at the front, and the shroud screws onto.

As well as the shroud attachment that screws into the shroud and onto the barrel lock. It has locktight applied so must be heated to be separated.

Just buy a second gun in the other caliber you want. Set it and forget it. Best for keeping stable accuracy as well.

+1

I just did that with a Crown. I had a .22 Continuum, but every time I changed it to a .25 I missed my .22, and vice versa. Problem solved. I now have two Crowns, one in .22 and one in .25.

Of course, I now have a different problem, since I go back and forth between the 380mm and the longer barrel (700mm in .22 and a 600mm in the .25) 😬

4 Crowns are out of the question though.........
