Newbie-My dad gave me a Beeman R10. Value??

• Personally, I'd be more attached to a rifle I'd known my father (or grand-father, or friend) to use all the time... than some "nice" unused rifle.
• I enjoy the memories associated with the object more than the actual object.

I don't I own a thing that was my parents. Heck, oldest picture I have of myself is as an adult. 

As ya can probably tell, I don't spend much time thinking about the past. Too much to do for the future.

Hope this helps with your pricing question...A few months ago I picked up a super clean R10 in .20 cal, for $250 plus shipping.. Was on a popular online classifieds thread and got many views, so I cant say I scooped it right up as soon as it was posted.. It needed a scope, but @ 40 yards, its shoots like a PCP with Barracuda's.

A lot of people would easily pay you
$500 for just the Rifle.
On the other hand, maybe you should
take up the hobby of target shooting
with your nice R 10.

There is an R10 on ebay listed for $400. There were no bids and now it is relisted. R-10s are not as popular as R9s and are not as reliable due to broken springs IMO. That Being said I really like my R10 in .20. I usually see exceptional .177 ones go for $250 to $375. Add more $$ for one in .20
