N/A Newcomer here and new to the PCP world

I've been looking at the Zelos along with a few others. The ones I've been looking at are all in different category and price ranges so not sure where to settle. I'm nowhere near decided on any still going down the rabbit hole, especially with the different price categories.

Some of the options are, and again I remind you I know a lot of these guns are in different categories:

Mid Budget ($400-$600) - Zelos, Macavity Arms MA2, Air Venturi Avenge X, Barra 250Z, Maurader, another Notos with some other goodies.

High Budget for now ($700-$900) Reximex Throne 2, Daystate Huntsman Revere, AEA SF Series variants. Granted I've barely explored these options, something about the Reximex I like tho after seeing videos and reviews.

Being new to PCP's I'm not sure what quality and felt changes come with the different price ranges, I only owned low entry level PCP's. I do eventually see myself really splurging on a way higher quality gun over the current ones mentioned, meaning higher price ranges than current options, but not there yet. A lot of solid options at the lower price ranges I'm looking at, which adds room for other needed accessories or more to pit towards other guns, or go to higher level options and build off that platform.

I'm open to suggestions and advice. Also open to used options. Sorry for the long post.
You did your homework :) From the ones you mention I think the Zelos and Avenge-x are the best overall in your mid budget and the Huntsman in the high budget. If you like classic rifles, the huntsman is amazing right out of the box. In the same region in terms of price: FX Wildcat. I recently got a compact in .22 with a laminate stock and I am amazed by it…

If you watch the classifieds you can pick up an Avenger for a couple hundo then add the Buck Rail conversion kit for a buck and a half. Very tunable gun with external adjustments and mags are cheap. Lots of experience in these forums and online for tips. Check out Big Air Precision for mags.. great price, great one on one CS and made in the US.
My Buck Rail conversion kit is due to arrive this morning and I understand that it really transforms the gun.

I thought I saw somewhere with the Daystate at $975, but can't find it now. I'm guessing I was wrong on price with that one

In all my excitementI skipped over the line that says "Please double check scope clearance" lol

I have been doing a ton research on this myslef and the Umarex Notos seems to be best option in my opinion. The customization options alone really sold me and the price point. I was a Hatsan fanboy when I started in pcp rifles but Umarex and AEA have kinda stolen the show for me. The price points are nice with plenty of options for customizations that dont break the bank either.
