Aloha
So..I just purchased a FX Crown Mk II and i removed the Rear power adjuster (which has a different type of font on it, its much smaller) and I did not see any springs at all, but the 2 ball bearings were present, did I lose these springs in the process? or are these springs no longer installed in the newest generation of Crown Mk II's? Does anyone know or have any idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated! (The first image is my rifle with the new style power adjuster, and the second picture is the original style.

Regardless of the markings & graduations on the hammer spring pre-load wheel, it is held in place/allowed to move via a spring loaded ball detent system.

So yes, there are supposed to be springs under the balls.

Hopefully you just didn't see them on your gun - they aren't very visible when they are down in their holes. Did you try a dental pick or other small instrument (tiny hex key) to try and pull them up and make sure they aren't really there?
