NEWS FLASH SCOOP! "A giant leap for"... Pistol Field Target! (spy photo included)

I spoke with the president of Air Force/ RAW and there is a limited quantity being produced with options to purchase soon. Hopefully within a month.

I haven't heard solid numbers on the price, but if it's normal raw price or less due to not using a big piece of laminate it will be a great value. I personally have three customers in line wanting a full setup with one of these. I hope lots of people are interested, it would be nice to see these pop up at matches.

With my RAW Micro Hunter I was getting more than a pistol match worth of shots from factory. Now I'm getting 120+ at 11.5fpe. I'll apply this same tune to the new pistol/ carbine platform when I receive it from raw.

It's been a fun process chatting with the president of RAW, throwing ideas back and forth to get this design figured out. This will be the ultimate travel RAW, multi use for pistol and rifle. It's kind of a pain to pack two separate guns to grandprix matches, with the new rules for scopes It will be even more simple now.

I use magnetic wheels, and plan on using a 12x wheel and a 50x wheel with range markings for mag.

When I know more I can post more!

Looking forward to being a part of team Raw this year. Loved how well my HM1000 rifle and Micro Hunter shot two weeks ago at the Southern Oregon GP.

Can you make me #4 customer waiting in line?

Unfortunately I don't have the authority to put people in line or know the order of who was in line first. I can let them know that I have yet another friend wanting to purchase one, and if they have any availability for it to count you in.

Curious, are you wanting .177 or .20?

I don't think there is an actual waiting list for these, but maybe send an email so you have a date and time attached adjust incase they are doing orders by first come first served.
Yes, email AirForce and inquire about the new TM1000 FT Pistol. [email protected]

Cam does not frequent the board ... being we shoot together and both shoot .20 cal, Cam sometimes, me all the time can give a bit of insight.
The .20 cal we both typically shoot at the <20fpe power using the JSB 13.7's and at that power level the .20 is seriously accurate !! & moves in the wind far less so than the .177's, tho the 13.4 is very close.

These RAW pistols set at <20 fpe in .20 cal should shoot equally well and exhibit rifle accuracy if shooters able. Now set at <12 fpe using the .20 cal the trajectory indeed is going to be loopier, tho accuracy & wind drift should follow suit edging out the .177's ...... WITH ONE BIG HANDICAP being your shooting into the same size KZ ( If used in FT ? ) and splits can / will happen a tad more often. Your D.O.P.E. data due to the loopier flight path needs to be very precise and scope able to accurately range to 35y ( FT use )

Just some personal FYI

Good information from The Voice Of Experience, Scott.(y)

Hope you don't mind if I expound a bit by mentioning .20 caliber is a top pick for (20 foot pound maximum) Extreme Pistol Field Target. So anyone interested in ONE pistol to be used in AAFTA and Extreme Pistol FT could do no better than a RAW in .20 caliber.

That about sums up exactly what I'd say! Thanks Scott!
