Next rifle - WAR Flex?? RAW HM1000X???

I was recently turned onto WAR's air rifles, in particular the Flex. I have been trying to figure out what I want to buy next to replace my .25 cal Daystate Air Ranger and initially I was sold on the RAW HM1000x in .25. After reading Marksman3006's recent post on the RAW HM1000x, it looks even more appealing; especially since I used to own a tuned Theoben Rapid so I am familiar with the general platform. Basically, in a nutshell, I want a .25 cal rifle for small game out to 100 yards. I have my Mutant .22 that I use for birds and some small game, but want a bit more power for longer shots. The WAR Flex definitely looks like a different animal due to the fact it wears AR style furniture, but everything I seem to read is positive - Accuracy - noise - efficiency, etc.

Anyone have any opinions on either of these rifles from hands on experience? Looking for a little direction on my next purchase. Thanks in advance.

I have the Flex in .30. Its accurate, efficient, and quiet for its fpe level. One reason I prefer it over other guns is how easily adjustable it is. I run the gun between 80fpe and 88fpe as a pellet shooter, but I can easily enough shoot heavy slugs out of it all the way up to 200fpe if I want, or change out calibers and back it all the way down to 20fpe.

I like having that freedom in chosing my power levels. If I had a .25 barrel on my Flex, I would probably run it on a regulator somewhere between 50-60fpe and also have the option to quickly take it off the regulator to shoot heavy .25 slugs whenever I wanted at or exceeding Condor or Sumatra power levels. When I get a .25 WARP, that's how I'm going to set it up.

That would be a very tough choice... I don't think you can go wrong either way.
They both have top notch customer support and make incredibly accurate and high quality rifles.
I think the biggest decider would be which will be better for you ergonomically.
I would try and find someone near you with a RAW or FLEX and see if they will let you shoulder it and shoot a couple rounds.

I'm a traditional styled rifle guy and could not be happier with my RAW HM 1000x. Beautiful walnut wood work, spectacular fit and finish, and fantastic accuracy and consistent pellet speed (like 3-6 fps estreem spread on my 30) which results in pellet on pellet accuracy at 50 yards. Martin is easy to get in touch with and is very personable. I'd get a second RAW without thinking twice. I put them in the same quality level as Daystate, Steyr, and Feinwerkbau.

From the reviews I have seen I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

Just to add another option to the pool, American Air Arms is coming out with the new Evol carbine soon.

Resale. Take care of a RAW and it will sell for close to what you paid new. A used FLEX can be bought for under $1500.
