NIB SCBA tank from 2001

Gauge indicates it’s goes to 3,000psi. 


Would this be useful or have any value? It appears to be charged but new in box.

id use it when im shootin all day just to tether to ..it would be like increasing your 3k psi guns tank size about 50X .. if your gun shoots better at say 28 then only fill it to there ..

If it's born on date is 2001, it's past it's 15 year life span. Dive shops, paintball shops, etc, doubtfully will fill it.

You will have to have it filled by someone who has a compressor for filling SCBA tanks.

Is this a CF wrapped bottle or steel (looks like steel)? If steel which is more typical for 3K psi bottle NO life span limit just has to past a hydro test every 5 years. 3K is pretty low pressure so you need a gun whose fill is lower than that of course so could be okay for the right buyer.

The call it a composite. It rings like metal but you can see the texture under the paint where it is wrapped with something. 


Yeah, I wish it were rated for more. I found it in my new-to-me home. The seller left it, and a bunch of other stuff behind.
