BSA Nice little IMD Light pattern

BSA Improved Model D. 1912 Light pattern 177
Pretty figured stock.
The gun cleaned up nicely. Typical plum brown compression tube.
Spring and seal feel good. Original oval wire spring. It’s always good to open these BSA’s up because primates have very often put BB’s in the tap and they end up imbedded in the seal after they destroy the fixing screw. If there’s one BB there’s usually several more.
The knurled sight elevation screw is missing but I’ve made them before

My dad was a machinist. Some of the parts he made for my drum hardware amazed me. He made me ball & socket tom mounts YEARS before drum companies started using them as standard hardware. Cool old gun & great work!
