I am curious the thoughts of the nicest underlever that can be bought for around $300. So far I am considering the Springfield M1A which can be had in 177 or 22 for $199 but I am uncertain on quality and longevity of use.

Call Mike I think the rifle is $150 and $40 for full tune. He will not sell you a bad gun. It used to be free shipping, but I haven't bought anything in about a year.

I would vote for the Gamo cfx as well, especially if you can get a wood stock. I have one and it's a very easy gun to shoot accurately and shoots in the 11.5ftlb range for mine in .177. I converted mine to a gas ram and have the charlie de tuna trigger in it. Is flying dragon still in business, someone told me he thought he was shutting down?

Youre goin to get 11-13fpe. The rotary breech limits the power you can get out of it. I think Gamo had a new batch last month and had them on sale.

Ya a .177 would be nice. I think the wood stocked ones are still for sale at Krale or one of the Spanish retailers.
