Hi Nick,
I know you are super busy and for that I'm thankful.
A question or perhaps a suggestion regarding sampler packs. Currently your sampler packs (at least in .22) comes with 6 weights from light to heavy. Most guns will have a weight range that they can shoot and that is usually broken out into the lesser weights and then the heavier weights. For example a lot of guns will shoot the 17.5 up to 23, in the heavier range, often those start around 24.8 grains and go up.
What if you put together sampler packs of .2165 and .2170 with weights of 17.5, 20.2, and 23 grain. The same could be done with those same diameters in the heavier weights, 24.8, 27.5 and 28.5 grain. That could also be done with the .2175 and .2180. That would allow us to test the a wider range of weights and diameters.
For me, shooting the .2165 17.5 grain at 960 fps avg and the 23 grain .2170 at 840 fps. The 23 grain is at the bottom of the curve for slug shooting.
If you were to break it up like that, it would still be the same amount of pellets you currently do and give us a chance to find which diameter works in our barrels. I bought the .217 sampler pack and for me the heavier weights are un-shootable.
Food for thought.
Thank you,
Dave
