That’s set up for 18.13-21.14 pellets. JSB & Kodiaks.
I can easily set it to 1040 with 27’s in 1 minute. I just don’t really need that power at 60 or under yard pesting. 12ft/lbs is usually more than enough for most anything.

I’m wondering what I would upgrade to. Thermal? Better NV? I don’t want to record or stream. Not necessarily. I would prefer not to pay for those features. A friend gave me the NV. I’m not ever going to sell but I am curious as to what else is out there. I plan on going out for coyotes this year. Could use a 24 or longer threaded barrel in .30 or .357
Any tips? Whose got best price on AF Condor aftermarket barrels now? I also need QD rings for this mount and a SWFA. I’d prefer to be able to use both more easily, IF it would retain a close to zero return to battery so to speak. Within 1-2” at 50yrds?

Talontunes has a .30 "drop in" kit with 24" 1:26 twist TJ stainless barrel and bushings, breech slide and valve/top hat for $495., currently out of stock. It is not a threaded barrel. One needs the new breech because the 0.30 barrel's breech is too thick for the stock breech slide, and then the new top hat because now the breech slide opening (0.375) is too wide for the stock top hat. While they were at it they made the orifice even bigger. The top hat has a 0.280 stem that only fits the newer high-flow valve/tanks. I know all this because I have one. I also will likely not ever use it so if they don't get them back in stock in time and you don't mind paying me the $495 I'll send you mine, hardly used and all in like-new shape.

That’s not bad at all but I just got a .25 & I think my .22 is good enough for them at 60-70ft/lbs as it’s sub 1/2 easy at 100 with the 27-32’s.
And I got other stuff which means I have to sell & I want a western Rattler S in .22 and .25 full size lol.
Always something new in the AG world.

I have both types of scopes, and I prefer thermal under the right circumstances. I feel the Thermal Scope will be good for coyote hunting if you are shooting into a more open field. Taking a Thermal into a heavily wooded area is a big mistake though!
Even with my fairly sensitive thermal scope, you can see things that are near ambient, but you lose all depth perception.
