Will be looking into thisHello if in your budget look at a PVS14 and you can either weapons mount it behind a red dot with nv setting, it can be helmet mounted and used with the same gun and an ir laser can also be used. It can be used as a hand held monocular, and best of all it can jump from gun to gun with no rezeroing. Hope this helps Eric.
Pard FD1?...seems ok to me...
The Pard FD1 does NOT calculate ballistics when used as a clip-on. I also will add that at 50 yards in broad daylight, I could not resolve/see the rings on my paper target nor pellet holes. $650 paperweight.Pard FD1?...seems ok to me...
Ask in the Optics section of the forum.Have a fox problem and I was wondering what you guys suggest for a night vision setup without breaking the bank like an ATN? My chickens will thank you...
Hey brawler1588. Whats a good one for a fixed distance (bait station) under 50 yards? Dont need it to record or measure. Strictly night vision and easy to use and fairly cheapAre you zeroing at that 50-70 distance and does your setup shoot flat, do you need a range finder or clearest image, just want to be able to see in the dark, lightweight and compact. The reason I ask is I have been testing day/night scopes for over a year including wraith 2-16HD, wraith 4k max, wraith 4k mini, pard nv007, pard nv008p, atn 4k pro 3-14, accufire tr1. I'm sure I can get you sorted with a little more details and I am happy to share test videos just let me know. For that matter any one in this thread looking just ask I also recently started testing thermal scopes and monoculars.
I would go with the dnt zulus 520 for $499, BUT for $200 extra you can get the lrf version if you wanted. If not the non lrf will do you well. As for ease of use if you get it I will talk you through the buttons and any questions you may have.Hey brawler1588. Whats a good one for a fixed distance (bait station) under 50 yards? dNT Zulus ($499) or Wraith Hd ($375). Of these two, is the Zulus worth the extra $$I would go with the dnt zulus 520 for $499, BUT for $200 extra you can get the lrf version if you wanted. 1000% worth the extra. The zulus was better than the 4k wraith version as well.dNT Zulus ($499) or Wraith Hd ($375). Of these two, is the Zulus worth the extra $$
Put an ice cube in a baggy and tack that to your target. Cold doesn't expand like a heat source does on thermal.I had no trouble zeroing TNC225R at 30m in Thermal and Day-Night. I just ordered a thermal target just to double check.
Wait, who mentioned thermal?Put an ice cube in a baggy and tack that to your target. Cold doesn't expand like a heat source does on thermal.
I only own and have used the Zulus, my opinion is it's B/A1000% worth the extra. The zulus was better than the 4k wraith version as well.
