Niksan Niksan Ozark W

As I said, own a few I modified.
But in the end the Huben were just so much better.
I do own 2 of the knock-off Huben from AliExpress. But I found out they were knock-off and started using the real deal. Don't know if the knock-off are as good or not don't want to find out they are not...

With the cheap regulator I added to the Ozark I get a spread of less than 10 FPS over 100 shots.
That regulator (which I added) is the best one among all my PCPs.

That regulator is also the best thing on the Ozark, since otherwise the Ozark is not worth the almost $400 I paid.
For a little over $400 I can buy an Umarex Zelos which is a much better airgun.

What type regulator?
If i had to guess your Bellevilles are not acting linear in your regulator.
no reg just adjusting the transfer port lever. this is between 165 to 151 bar so when i do regulate ill set it to 151-160 and maybe upgrade the hammer spring to exactly match the reg as well as a 700cc carbon bottle with a 300bar fill max and i was gonna adapt 2 of the zelos plenum kits for each side of the gun add an extra 120cc of regulated air in the gun. now my wife also wants a niksan in .25 so it looks like well be taking another drive up to the pellet shop and grab another one of these . we love them

So sell it and buy a zelos.
No sense being unhappy.

My Niksan have been great.
Hit what I aim at and like heavy pellets.
Shot both today
The .25 Escalade made 4 holes in the target at 45 yards. 1 hole per magazine. H&N Barracuda 30gr. I didn't go measure the holes but they looked easily less than 1/2". Couple rounds I pulled outside the holes but most consistent shooting I've done i quite a while.
The .22 Ozark did okay with Apolo 25.4gr but was just like the Escalade with JSB and Barra 25.4gr.

Never found a need to mess with the factory tune, it works.

Only guns I have that are more accurate are my FX Bobcat, Evanix Sniper X2 and my A.H. Hartley Stalker Tiger Ten. And only slightly more.

So, sell and buy what you believe will make you happy.

I just use the Huben Power Cricket Max-ATH with the 50CC plenum. If my math is correct 5.5mm barrel 55cm long is 13CC. You need enough plenum to accelerate the pellet the full length of the barrel.

I seem to remember the plenum needs to be ?triple? the size of the barrel volume. It may be more than triple since the plenum depletes as the pellet travels. There is a thread somewhere here on AGN that defined all that.

Pi*(.275*.275)*55=13

My Ozark seems to be accurate too.

I already have a Zelos, that is why I compared the Zelos to it.

I usually improve the airguns that are not good enough out of the box, not sell them.
Unfortunately the trigger has some limits to what you can improve.
