I don't know, Turkish Walnut and Pine don't really match. Looks like I'm going to have to move it to my shooting bench today. What a shame.

I was going to go with the TW model. I was watching some shot show reels online and the guys at the Niksan booth were saying how much they liked the W model over all the others. So that's what swayed me to go with the W model. I haven't tried the Hades in it yet, but I will. I'm stacking pellets at 30yds with the JSB Match Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr myself. I love, what I call the gas pedal, transfer port adjustment. It sure comes in handy for all sorts of situations. I was pleasantly surprised at the FPS difference between the lowest setting and the highest setting. I'm seeing a 200+ FPS difference just by sliding a little lever up and down. Super handy. This rifle blew all of my tempered expectations away right out of the box, with a barrel cleaning of course.

Yes that power adjustment makes a world of a difference. Either u hit or miss.. kill or harm. My brother switched it on me when he was trying it out and i didnt know. The next time i shot it it was a total different sound. And impact. Depends on what u are using the gun for. But it does make a difference.

I have the TW and really like the it. It's an accurate, good looking setup, for sure. So far it seems to like the heavier pellets (34) in both FX and JSB. I am trying the JTS pellets next. AEA's after that. The one drawback about the TW, IMO, is that it really requires a bottle clamp for the bipod to be where I want it. The TS has the in the right location. I could add the mount to the wood stock, but it doesnt seem like it would support it too well. Again, my 2 cents. Oh, and I purchased mine from DonnyFL. Great expereince.

An update to my last response. I have right around 2500 pellets through my Ozark. Getting to know this gun, I have gone through some frustrating moments. The hammer spring adjustment ultimately has very little adjustment capabilities. Which, in the end isnt that big of deal and the optimum tune is how I received it from DonnyFL. That wasnt the frustrating part (that was actually fun). I wrestled with both a scope issue and a dirty barrel issue. very long story short, a new scope and a good cleaning later, this 25 cal gun prefers 25 grain pellets. Based on the comparison of four, JTS and AEA were neck/neck at both 25 and 50. JSB performed great at 25. FX...not as good.
I am glad I went through this. This rookie has learned a lot. I really, really like this gun. Now I know the gun even better.

The more I shoot mine the more I love it as well. Yeah, the HS is not adjustable on this gun if it's a US model from DonnyFL or one of the partners that sell it like the pellet shop. It turns but makes no difference. It will stop the gun from cocking if you turn it in too far. It's supposed to have the correct hammer spring in it which is a fair bit heavier to meet the "DonnyFL Spec." The only adjustment on the gun is the transfer port. I personally wouldn't mess with it. I turned mine down because I just want between 800 and 850FPS for the .22 18.13 JSB Jumbo Exacts mine is such a fan of and it ended up causing an O-ring to burst on my valve stem. Also, because I wanted more shots per fill. So, I just run the TP wide open and that "HS adjuster" that does nothing, flush with the rear of the receiver and she runs like a sewing machine. If your gun ever starts honking at you like a goose that O-ring has broken. Right before it goes it will make an oscillating sound and get really loud even with a moderator on it. The tune right out of the box is how this gun was meant to run, and it runs well with the stock tune which really isn't stock. Just need to find a pellet it loves and have a ball with it. As far as the barrel goes, they ship with grease in them to protect the barrel and thoroughly cleaning the barrel on a new gun should be the very first thing you do after a function check.

Well, I didnt know what it was, but from what you said, my valve stem o-ring is blown. It shoots when its's all the way open, but doesnt sound quite like it did before. Thanks for the info. I guess I know what I will be doing over the weekend. Yeah, I have tried the HS in all those positions. I measured what it was before my adjustments. It's back to the DonnyFL tune. So, i guess it's tear-down time to get to that o-ring.

I am bit concerned about the future of these guns. They dont seem too popular, even though they are being distributed by very repurtable dealers. I may buy another one for spare parts. heh heh

I had a spare in my parts bag. Make sure you use some silicone grease, sparingly, on it and make sure the sharp area of the receiver it slides into doesn't cut it when you replace it. Just be gentle. I nicked mine a tiny bit and figured it would be fine, nope. Luckily, I have a few O-ring kits I bought and have plenty of replacements. You want a good tight O-ring that doesn't get cut or nicked when inserting it into its home in the receiver. It's not difficult to repair either. Just start pulling it apart from the front and it will stand out like a sore thumb. Best of luck. Hey, did yours start slinging the crap out of your ammo even though it's burning up air like crazy and has a broken seal? Mine started shooting better but it was obviously in need of repair.

Yes, mine is shooting GREAT! Very tight groups. I can shoot two clips without getting through the curve. Basically, shot 20 drops dramatically. mine is a 25, so it may be a bit different on that front. I am seriously considering buying another one. I like to tinker. In fact, that is what I like most about this hobby. So I may see what one of these does when the air has more space to go through...open it up a bit. Then...maybe a regulator. Just thinking. Keep one stock, though.

IME just running a patch puller through the barrel around 500 shots to get the big gunk out does the trick. I don't like having to re-lead the barrel and the accuracy is still on point. If the accuracy starts to fall off I'll give it a good cleaning and re-lead.

I love to tinker to, but I also love how well mine is shooting right now and I have a strict if it ain't broke don't fix it policy from past tinker sessions. Best of luck though.

I have my valve assembly apart. Mine isnt sticking out like a sore thumb. All existing o-rings look fine.

In my opinion it's nothing special compared to rifles like the Walther Reign, Avenger, Avenge X etc... It is a well-built rifle that looks slick but for me it all comes down to accuracy and it's no more accurate than any of the guns I listed above. It's not an FX Impact killer, sorry it's just not. It's a nice tactical looking low midrange rifle that is a joy to shoot. I wonder which came first. Snowpeak MM60B or Umarex Zelos. As far as I can see they are pretty much the same rifle IMO. At least until I see otherwise.

Hmm, mine was the little, tiny O-ring that goes on the chromed valve stem that the hammer strikes causing the issue. I didn't tear mine down any farther than that.
