I got a clean R1 sporting a custom right hand walnut stock. I think the stock is a maccari or Abernathy. Not sure. I bought it secondhand about a year ago and only shot it a few times to get chrono numbers and put it away. I’m selling to free up some cash to put into some of my other hobbies. Otherwise, I would keep it. It’s a carbine model. The shot cycle is smooth with a solid thunk. Cocking is also smooth. As far as I know from the previous owner, the spring is stock and it received a lube tune. Looking through the cocking slot, it shows the internals were worked over with lubes.
Besides the stock, it has a Macarri trigger guard and muzzle brake. It also has a rear sight cover plate and polished stainless forearm bolts with brass cups. It’s shooting right at 16 ftlbs with H &N field target trophies. I have an Athlon Talos 3-12 mildot scope mounted on a sports match one piece mount on the gun. Everything is fresh and not even shot for accuracy yet. Just never got around to it.
For everything shown in the pictures I would like $750 plus shipping. Without the scope and mount, $600 plus shipping. I prefer PP transactions.
I’ll probably regret selling this one but it’s not getting used like it should. It’s just needs a new owner willing to put shooting time into it.
