WTS Brocock Contour S6 .22 cal with Altaros Regulator Installed
I’m looking to streamline my arsenal a bit and sell some items that I don’t shoot or use much. This is my preferred rifle to shoot collared doves with because I have tuned the regulator and hammer spring down so that the rifle gets 48 shots on a 210 BAR fill and 44 shots on a 200 BAR fill. Each shot is at 9 FPE which I found ideal for shooting JSB wadcutters or RWS Super-H-Point pellets so that they drop the dove but are low risk of damaging the surrounding areas.
The rifle shoots very consistently until it falls off the regulator. The above shot string shows 48 shots at an average velocity of 543 fps and a standard deviation of 4.4 fps.
The rifle is easy to disassemble and assemble and is a great gun to learn about PCPs on. The regulator and hammer spring are easy to adjust if desired as well. Another bonus of the less powerful tune is that the rifle is ridiculously quiet with a real moderator attached. The moderator that the rifle came with (and will ship to you with) is a bit of a joke in my opinion and doesn’t do much. I purchased an adapter so that a proper moderator could be installed. The gun only has a 44cc air cylinder and is a breeze to fill with about 25 pumps.
There are scarring marks on the air reservoir where I got overly aggressive trying to remove the fill valve to install the regulator for the first time. I also need to point out that the magazines do not index completely on their own. After cocking the rifle the magazine only rotates ¾ of the way and needs a light touch of the finger to finish rotating. The rifle has always done this since new.
The rifle will ship with the moderator adapter (these are a pain to find), 3 magazines (two more than the rifle came with), and the Altaros regulator installed. Asking $475 via PayPal to ship to your door in CONUS only. I’ll pay the 3% Paypal fee. Contact me through PM here. Thanks for looking.
