Hi it is a great idea to have one to hook up to a car say if e out camping or drive to hunting and can refill but a tank can do same thing .I found them china compressors do not last , I gave up on my last one a Modair unit and finally got a good brand and trouble free now for 3 years . The Chinese one which can only fill guns are air cooled with a pc 80mm fan . the water cooled ones overheat melt connectors wires piston rings o-rings , Imagine a air cooled one uggg , It is cheap but is very very lite duty . Id use a bigger tank and save for a quality unit . I know starting out OCP shooting is way more expensive then say center fire or rim fire , but once we have things it is cheaper , unless you like me and has to keep buying new things LOL

If you are out on the road and in decent shape a hand pump will do if you need a refill in the field and don't own a tank. Pumping isn't fun but it works.

I'm still not sold on these small Chinese compressors as much as I would like one. Reliability and longevity are my two biggest concerns. The Crosman, probably a rebranded one of these, seems to be doing ok, but I'm still hesitant. My Hill and FX pumps are still going strong for a few years now.

I hope the Nomad 2 works better than how the original Nomad is said to work. My order for a Nomad got changed to a Nomad 2 today and I should have it soon.

As of right now, it will be my only source for air.

I actually ordered one of these today to go with my first pcp (kral pucher breaker) and really like the freedom to fill at home or out and about. While a bottle is easy and can do the same job its nice being self reliant as i live out in the county and there arent any nearby shops to fill them. 

Hoping this is what is says it is. Also, for silicone oil i would think that pneumatic tool oil (which i believe is 100% silicone) should work and is nice and cheap and available at local home depot/Lowe's/ etc.

 pneumatic tool oil is hydro carbon based, not a substitute for silicone unless you want to make a bang.

Good to know. I thought it was silicone, have ordered up some silicone oil now. Will best the compressor here so thats good.
