Nomad ll Error Code H2. Anyone know what this error code means?

@abqjoe I was hoping the question was answered in that thread. I remember looking for an answer for someone and information was hard to come by. Enough AGN members have them. I hope you can figure it out. How’s customer support?
I just started having the problem this morning and when I called, there was no answer so I'm assuming they are closed on weekends. My Nomad would stop filling at 200 bar and then throw that H2 code. It did it twice before filling my M3 all the way. I'll keep digging and share whatever I find if no one here knows what it means.

So I have been playing around with this compressor over the weekend as time permitted. I took it apart Saturday night to have a look see under the hood and didn't notice anything obvious, everything was tight and right. This morning I did some simple maintenance like putting the plug into the fill whip and running the compressor up to 3500psi and then loosening the moisture relief valve to drain any moisture or excess oil. I do this every 5 fills anyway and I am on the 15 fill with this compressor now. The only thing I have not done is the "Basic Maintenance" process. So, I figured what the heck, let's see if it fixes this problem and it did! I completed the basic maintenance procedure and half way through ran out of the silicone oil that I was using and so I grabbed some of my 40w Team Associated R/C shock fluid which is 100% silicone oil and finished up. Took my 22 cal Impact Compact outside to shoot some pellets so that I could try out the compressor and it worked just fine. I have filled the gun 3 times so far and no more H2 code.
Prior to this, the compressor was starting to take longer to fill and the load on the display was reading from 24-27.5. With this silicone shock oil it now reads from 19-23 and fills the rifle faster than ever. All of this being said, I have to conclude, IMO of course, that the H2 code has to do with maintenance. Granted, the maintenance I just did came a little pre-maturely because I only had 15 fills with this compressor until today. But I guess early maintenance is probably better than late maintenance.

I had my nomad 2 for 2.5 years and 25 hours of service and babied her. I did all of the maintenance requested of the manual and basically lubed her every time I used her, same thing happened to me a few months back I took her apart at least a dozen times very easy to work on by the way, I called AV and they said it’s probably the board and easiest way to tell is use the 12 v cable well I used the cable and it wouldn’t run at all. So I purchased a new HP cylinder off Amazon but same result, I figure it’s either the board or motor over amping since then I purchased a yong heng and omg I’ll never look back at the n2!! The YH is cheaper and easier to fix if need be but I bought the 4 year warranty so I’m good the YH is like hyper speed! I still have my nomad 2 and will eventually by the board to see if it fix’s then problem down the road. By the way the rep said h2 means to much voltage and told me to try a different outlet (he was not a tech).

Interesting.....I always use the same outlet with this compressor. I'll keep the Yong Heng in mind if this one doesn't work out. Thanks for the info.

So I spoke with a tech today and it turns out that we're both correct. H2 does mean too much voltage and was more commonly seen with the 1st gen Nomad and was usually the board. However, it is also caused if the unit is too dirty on the inside because the dirtier it is, the more power/voltage it pulls in to keep functioning. I also had a conversation as to what the appropriate weight was to be used as far as the silicone oil goes. The answer to that is 65wt.
