Norma delivered

Ordered these when I was allowed outside rights to plink😑 my days off will be hopefully consisting of loading up the slingers and heading off into the flatlands of kansas to mind my own bleeping business to find out the accuracy of these pellets😮‍💨🤣🤌

Read your outside shooting perils thread - totally sucks.

Who are Norma pellets - I've never heard of them before. Where would you rate the on the Crosman to JSB scale?
Thanks for empathizing; Idk yet haha I believe it was @beerthief who gave me a heads up on them? I've had other Norma ammo but not pellets. They look great*will add more pics at some point.

Ive just ised the norma golden trophy domed .177 nothing special or nothing bad just shot as well as i could expect.

Now theres 2 kinds . German made and not .. ( i think Brazil made). The getman made in a different color tin ( like a red and all that made in Germany print.. the green like are wherever made..

Look at picture of tin here no made in Germany

Norma makes fantastic PB ammo so if these pellets are done with the same attention to detail, they should be winners. The wad cutter heads may not be great at anything past 10 meters, though.
Got em for plinking🤙doubt they will get tested past 10m any time soon by me anyways

I'd say closer to JSB. Midway had Norma pellets on sale back a few months ago so I sampled a few different ones.

.177 dome 8.4gr
.177 dome 9.1gr
.177 wadcutter 8.2gr
.22 dome 15.9gr
.22 wadcutter 14gr

From the first two test rifles, at 30 yards all 5 pellet types produced a group that can be covered with a dime. Subsequently tested the 15.9gr in the Avenger and they were going into ~1 MoA cloverleafs at the same distance.

(The targets here are 1 inch squares with an aspirin-sized white bull.)

So a few days ago I ordered a bunch more from Norma direct. Quick test of a couple of the .177 pellets yesterday in poor wind conditions with a center hold:

Then tried the 17.6gr .22 cal domes in the Avenger. The first couple of groups at 30 yards looked uncommonly good so I turned to the 50 yard target.

For that kind of result in the wind, I'm super impressed.

Your “ no made in Germany” tin in the links photo shows RUAG AMMOTEC GMBH.
RUAG is a Swiss company that has manufacturing facilities in Germany, Switzerland, Hungary and Sweden.
