New Benjamin Marauder arrived yesterday. Pumped to 3,000 PSI. Overnight leaked down to 2,000 PSI. Is this normal?

Nope. PCPs shouldn't leak.
Note that when you fill them up, the air gets warm and you'll have less showing on the gauge after it cools down, but not 1000fps less.

Thanks for the reply. Took my time with the MK5 pump so not much heat. Doing the ballon test on the muzzle and will go back over all the “make sure these are tight” connections.

You're doing it right, isolate the leak, then bring it back to forum for diagnosis. Many have owned this popular gun, sure your situation is not unique. Some new PCP owners mistakenly overtighten to correct leaks when "O" ring is the culprit, glad you're not one of them. WM

A properly sealed, high-pressure-air vessel will contain all its contents until intentionally discharged or seal failure, regardless of the duration of time.
