Are the number of posts higher or lower since the previous system has been dismantled? 



In a system where honest but flawed comments can be actively attacked via negative ratings (not just via posting the accurate data) appears to create double jeopardy for newcomers or less experienced but eager forum MEMBERS (not guests). 



I'm in my second year of membership here and have not had a nice reception (compared to other forums). I never mind being corrected, since learning and better informed is what I come here to get. Lead on! But, giving people negatives....that's too much opportunity for abuse (IMO). I'm glad the negatives are gone.

Arch, I'm with you on all counts. People were too quick to assign anonymous red balls just because they might not agree with your opinion. As a result, I no longer participate as often as maybe I should or could.

I think the best possible was what was done. Took away the red and left members their green. Very likley why you want them back is the very reason they went away. Would like to hear how having back would in any way make this place better.
