Nothing Last Forever. Buy What You Can Afford

@AirShot I do agree in regards to having them just send a new one. It would be nice. I had an old Leupold VXII 4-12× or 4-16× (I forget) with 25 yard front objective parallax adjustment that I mounted on my RWS Diana M48 springer back in the 1990s. Of course it broke after a few tins through it. I sold it to a friend with the knowledge that it was broken and that Leupold would cover it under their warranty. He sent it out with no problems and they took care of it.

@Teber66 It's true about some of the higher tier companies who just don't want to replace it. It's sad considering what they cost. I guess when a person decides on what optic to get, they have to look at not only the product that's being offered but they also have to factor in how good the company's warranty is.

@Glenroiland Thank you. March scopes have a lot of nice offerings. I recently picked up a March-FX High Master 4.5-28×52 and have it mounted on my AAA Evol Mini 22. Great optics. Hopefully you won't have to use their warranty.

I feel we are very lucky these days to get very very nice glass for pretty dam good deals and most are life warranty .

I feel the same. There are more scope companies offering more products and they're very competitive. Having excellent customer service and no hassle warranties separate some from the rest and keep them at the top.

UPDATE:

Just thought I should update this thread and report that I just received my Kahles K525i back from Austria last week and happy to say it's better than ever. I sent it out on 10/02/2021 and received it on 12/16/2021 so it took 10 weeks and 5 days total time. Their repair time on the warranty site states 6-8 weeks for repair times so it seems about right not including the shipping times to and from.

Prior to sending it out before the problems occurred, I don't recall it being as clear on max magnification at 25x. Now, it's super clear on max magnification. I was looking at a building 803 yards away and see a lot more detail in the image. My scope was not replaced with a new one but repaired. They did send me an email with the value of the repair at $1500.00 which was covered under warranty. Here's the packing list with the repairs that were done.
