I am new to PCP airguns, so this may be a dumb question. I have a brand new out of the box Notos that leaks air out of the end of the barrel when pumping it up. Can I fix it easily or should I just send it back?

cock it first to basically take the hammer weight off of the valve for its initial fill from zero.
