Umarex Notos...my notos can't group heavier slugs

Jeebus. Higher than expected. What reg pressure is "wide open". 3k?

Nope, I think it was only 2300-2400? Ill have to go out to the shop and sneak a little peek
.

Once you get a goodly sized plenum, the peak is easier to reach.

2 things; I don't have the .22, 700mm barrel on the Franken Notos right now, its sporting the 500mm .25 barrel and the reg is sitting at 10MPa for 800fps with 25gr pellets.

The new build is sporting a 500mm barrel and is sporting a .22 bore and the reg is set to 7MPa and is doing 905fps with 14.39gr pellets.

Porting & plenums!

Ive got the regular c88 plenum. The 50mm long one. I need to get that extension ASAP.

14.7mpa to generate the 27ft lbs with the 380.i imagine the 600 will change this, now I need that plenum extension. However I am betting on 31fpe give or take simply adding the extra nearly 9 inches of runway. I would really like to be able to sling 20-21gr slugs at respectable speed. Or 880-890 with 18.1s

What kind of velocity are you getting with 15.89 and 18.1's from that thing?

Edit: I wish someone would manufacturer longer versions of the OEM barrels. Also a nice 1:1 replacement for the bolt and cocking arm. A nice fx style side lever would make for such a nicer experience to operate.
A local gentleman is making cocking lever for the notos to start selling

Man, if I could find a source of aluminum cocking levers with round handles like the FX ones, I'd be set!

The issue is cost. What will they run?
I was on the Maple custom products site tonight and saw they have a drop in notos cocking levers for around $34. They are part metal part polymer.

Chan made me a 200mm extension for my 500mm barrel, I bought a meter of carbon fiber shroud material and used a 700mm FX liner.

Five feet long, it was just to unwieldy.

So preliminary tests with 600.

Prior with 380m AT 2100 at best(accuracy) hammer settings (not strongest)
JTS 18.13 808-813
AEA 15.89 852-858
GRIFFIN 17 825-835

600mm STX at 150bar

JTS 18.13 848.8 avg
Griffin slugs 17ldc 876.2
16.08jts 888.0
CPHPs 929.5
No playing around with hs. But so far I'm thrilled.
