and probably doesn't interfere with folding the L2, like you might if it was mounted below on the stock rail.
The BR4 G2 is what I have, they all work great from the bench. I asked them about plans for making a lightweight unit but never heard anything back about it. I had spoke to the owner about making leg extensions few years ago, months later I received the prototypes that have worked well. I thought of the idea because I saw the need for something that could be packable and allow the user to add leg sections to make the bipod more versatile. The units are extremely durable but as anything have room for improvement.
The over the barrel bipod self levels the bubble. I don't fold my L2 am disconnecting and storing in a hardcase. All my guns have a hardcase.
I'll be going on a 12 mile hike in the Sandia Mountains tomorrow with 43lbs of gear.....but not to hunt, just for fun. The only hunting I do with my air rifles outside of pesting on my property, is coyote hunting in the desert or on ranches. I scout area's beforehand so that I am not wondering around aimlessly. I hear the same arguments being raised about firearms too. I've always felt that if one has an issue with weight that they should do some more exercising. Because if the weight of a weapon is too much for them, then said weight is the least of their problems.

Interesting......I like the feet. I guess what lured me into this Accu-Tac is that wide stance, very stable, especially when shooting off my belly.
Yeah I've heard there are some okay knock offs and ditto with other brands. I get the trade off and realistically most people have to make compromises to get their platforms outfitted. I just have a couple Leapers UTG bipods for shooting with my friends in the backyard and then on every other occasion I don't need fhem because I'm hunting. But I definitely know I need the upgrade in the future. When I do, I'll buy the real deal though. They have some cool designs too.

That's what I have and works perfect, when you don't have to think about your equipment you know it's quality
The Ajoite does cant, to get you level but you can't pan right or left,as in target shooting or shooting at a moving target, to some THAT alone is a deal breaker on the Ajoite.
