If only it was the exchange rate, but it is always taxes that kill my shopping in the UK / US, and if its small things the insulting large handling fee the shipping companies are allowed to take for handling the tax / customs,

Won't shipping eat ya up?
I saw someone in here write that shopping at Krale, you had to be mindful to not get too heavy on your orders, but stay under the cut weight and you should be able to get good stuff in at a reasonable price.

Shipping from UK isn't bad if you use Royal mail International Standard post. But most retailers want tracked and signed for. And the mailman here never asks for signatures. They just leave it on the porch anyway. And I don't usually trifle over tracking. Handling fees are another matter but you get that here too.
Forget eBag Global shipping. It's absurd.

This last month Usps disappeared a Bsa gold star edition - a required signature and a small insurance fee would most likely have prevented the loss. Additionally a postal agent, who was being nice ? signed for a package she left on my porch - which I never received - I’ve been refunded but she’s probably in hot water for a forgery.
