NSA 12.5 .177 slug results?

Scott I just put the 20 cal punches in my heat treater this morning and tomorrow I will put them on my centerless grinder and will be making 20 cal trial slugs maybe next week.

Oh yeah!!!

I've been excited about these since you first commented that they were in the pipeline.

Just barely had a .20 barrel machined for my Veteran. It'll do right up to 995fps with the JSB 15.89 .20s. Can't wait to buy some of the .20 slugs to test in it!

So the mailman delivered the slugs today and I immediately tried it in my PP700 carbine. First 5-6 shots were all over the place then this happened:

5 shots all touching at 20 yards and I even have stiff swirling wind. I’m so excited! Can’t wait to stretch these out farther!!!

Edit: chrono the slugs and it’s shooting at 770-780fps pretty consistently. Also found out because the trigger is tied to the cranked up HS and gun is so light it is very trigger pull sensitive. Shot 3 more groups and first 2 groups were all over the place then I realized I was pulling bad in my excitement, settled down and pressed the trigger properly and it’s touching again. Guess a super light weight converted pistol carbine doesn’t make a good bench gun. Can’t wait to shoot my little PP700 to 100 yards!!! LOL 😂
