I do believe that 5 or so years ago I sat down and designed a Hybrid slug or what I would consider being a Hybrid slug for the .357 cal. I just never went anywhere with it after the first testing. Just was not worth it for me to follow through with, due to no backing, they shot really good. Still needed a little tweaking to the balancing point. They were funny looking due to you wasn't sure which end to stick into the breech first, they were half pellet and half slug looking lol
But anyway NSA and Rat Sniper do deserve the credit for the hybrid that's for sure or at least for getting someone to look at them and put them out on the market. I believe Rat Sniper makes the slugs or at least designed them for FX. The reason they are called Hybrid is due to the way they are made and they will shoot out of a Pellet twist or Slug twisted barrel exceptionally well. They are just a well balanced slug that keeps them stable even with a slow or fast twist rate.
