O-ring kits

Amazon has all kinds of kits- metric kits, buna rating kits, o ring type kits, (I’m feeling like bubba in Forrest Gump with the shrimp).

problem with these kits, is the ones you truly need aren’t in them, like a typ fx one of 2.78mm x 1.6mm . What you’ll probably do is try and find one “close enough” and try and make it work. These kits are for emergencies only. I have one of those kits, but I also have each and every o ring made for each of my pcp’s.

with FX it’s, easy- just go on their website under the supports page and download the parts diagrams for your gun. Fx is friendly anf lists all the sizes of o rings. Then go to any o ring supplier on the world wide web and buy them.

As you can see in this :

Your question can be very involved!

You can find schematic and parts list at:

Here are 2 places you can buy plenty of O rings to last a long time.

If you want help you should ask folks if anyone has already made a list of O rings for the guns you have.

Outfits like Captain O-Ring do a service, but they do charge for it. The FX kits range from $28 to $35. They usually contain enough O-Rings for one change, so if you screw one up, too bad. The FX Diagrams have all the O-ring sizes, and if you buy from the O-Ring Store or O-Rings and more, or McMaster Carr, that same $30 bucks you'd spend for one kit will buy enough O-Rings to rebuild 20 times or more. Myself, have screwed up more O-Rings than I care to mention. Having all those spares saved my tush more than once!

I've used both O-rings and more and the O-Ring store. McMaster Carr has an excellent reputation, so do check them out. You'll need to spend time with the FX diagrams anyway to make sure you have the correct O-Ring for the part, so why not spend that time up front?

I've rebuilt my Gen 1 Impact a couple times. Hopefully, not again for a while. I keep adding mods like the Power Plenum and such. It's a terrible addiction.

You can buy 50 of every o-ring in your gun for around $30 if you do some research. Be sure to pic only the o-rings that are specific to your caliber from the fx diagrams. Get yourself a Plano box with compartments and write the gun location of each pack of o-rings on the bag. You'll have 50 "kits for the price of one.
