O-Ring Seal for CGA347 SCBA Fill Station Charging Adapter

I bought this stainless steel CGA347 Paintball PCP SCBA Air Fill Station Charging Adapter off eBay and it is working OK so far. It came with one replacement O-Ring seal that fits on the end of the shaft that goes into the center hole in the CGA347 valve assembly. The one on mine is a white fairly hard material that looks like PTFE / Teflon. The 2nd image is to give a closer view, from a different CGA347 adapter and has an orange O-Ring on it. For those of you who have been using one of these long enough to need to replace that O-Ring, what one are you liking the best?

I PREFER the white but the proper ones are hard to come by. Measure the size of the orange one & order extras from McMaster-Carr. I think I got 100 for around $7. I change mine out on the adapter about once a year or as needed. It's a no brainer for me. I'll send you some extras if you want. Just PM me.

I had the hand tight ones, but switched to the type where you need a wrench. In my opinion that is better as no orings are needed. The end on the ones that you use a wrench is round and does not use on o-ring on the end so never need replacing.

The white one on my eBay one has lasted a long time, but the original orange one that came with it didn’t last 3 weeks.

I own other fill systems and anymore I just use buna o rings on those, duro 90

Been a while since I posted this and just realized I never said thanks for your input. The Teflon seals definitely last longer but duro 90 buna o-rings are much easier to find. I put a little o-ring grease on the seal so it slides easily when doing the final tightening. Just don't tighten the o-ring retaining ring too tight or the o-ring will pop off the end.
