Well I would not recommend you shooting at any pets but hopefully some one will chime in and give you a place to target shoot in that area.

Go east to BLM land and you can shoot all day. Most of the deserts are BLM or national forest so pretty safe. Be sure to get your hunting license and a 4wheel drive so you aren’t near main road. Big bear also has a ton of places to shoot.

@qball I know this is an old post but I’m new. Where does BLM land begin in OC. Also, in big bear? I want to take my kids plinking/ verman hunting but don’t know where to begin. I’m in SGV.
