October bonks - meh

October was not a very impressive trip to the squirrel lands. I was a bit off my game that day and the opposing team did not want to play. The weather has been unseasonably hot and dry and the daylight shift to later in the day was not accounted for. I only went through one magazine of my .25 Reximex Tormenta before I headed back to the house. When it is a struggle, I have better things to do 😔

My camera was not level, and the wind was having its way with me. I hope my next edition of "BONKS" videos turns out better. If not, I can always take up crochet.....

Jim," Momma said there'd be days like this "! Go home & regroup .

Yeppers, not every day can be a record setting day. On the plus side, I diagnosed and corrected the issue with the ATV engine code. Turns out that the air filter was wrapped up with a plastic baggie. When throttle was opened the air flow sucked the baggie tight and choke off the filter. The old Polaris runs noticeably better with unrestricted air. I had to limp it home last time at 7 mph.

November will be better, I am sure. Nut harvest is coming and the squirrel gang is in high gear to build their stash for winter.
