How about a thread where we can track black friday deals?

Hoping for some great deals this year!

This has to be the first year where I’m not too concerned about air gun sales. I think I pretty much have my bases covered. The only thing I think that I want are a few molds and a swage press and I’m in no rush for either.

What are some of the items y’all are after this year when these good sales arise?

@Stubbers Molds can be pricey, but I’ve seen some that are more affordable (aluminum versus brass). I’ve purchased some where it just made more sense to purchase multiple molds considering shipping costs. Either way, it’s a great investment once you find a projectile that your gun’s barrel shoots exceptionally well. This is especially true for big bore air rifles. I see molds as an investment. The thing that I’ve learned that’s almost equally important is owning the right sizing dies. I definitely want some, I just don’t know what I need at this point in terms of a sizing die setup. Still learning on that front.

@Florida_Man Those GX units must be shaping up to be pretty reliable. They seem to be catching on. I’m behind the times on the smaller units. I still have a small portable Benjamin Traveler. I think it’s a Traveler. I haven’t used it in I don’t know how long. If you get a GX, let us know how it works for you long term.

@woogie_man I think I may end up playing with a small lathe eventually. Although I’ve never used one and don’t know much of anything about them. If I can learn to make poppets and valve seats I’d be content. What do you have in mind to make with a lathe? Anything you want to share?
