Taipan OG Veteran owners--- with Tactical Stocks please share your setups

After a few purchases from some very helpful AGN members, combined with some items from my hoard, I have assembled my version of a Veteran Long.

I am interested to see if any other members are using the "Tactical" stock as a bench gun. Specifically I would like to do something with the butt area-----more adjustable, better fitting butt plate, perhaps with a bag rider. Has anyone improved this area?

Here is a pic of current state. 700mm STX Superior Heavy, tensioned with 2024T3. I can carry it by the barrel with no change in POI. However it is not 100% thermally stabile----POI can string, vertically for the most part, with extreme temp changes. Still predictable and manageable, I can live with that for now. Current tune is ~35 shots of Altaros ATP Smooth 49.5 @850fps. The gun will shoot very accurately, but I believe requires a bit more effort to do so than it should, largely due to the very crude buttstock area.

Sure, a good scope would be nice but we haven't quite made it that far down the list. It has a sidewheel and can be adjusted to parallax-free, and if I do my part 1-1.5moa groups occur. 1.5-2moa are virtually effortless. Thus the current focus is on ergo...

The jury is still out on how I feel about this energy level--I do like how the ATP Smooths are largely unbothered by the winds I see here, which are mostly swirling and unpredictable but >80fpe can become a bit tiring. I only have a 100 yard range so it's really a bit overkill. Soon I will drop down to .22 and do some testing there.

I found some bits and pieces in my spares bin to lower the buttplate a bit, this seems to be a bit more comfortable to shoot. I'll test this for a while and see if this is any closer to the feel I am looking for. No Taipan parts were harmed in the process, it is fully reversible.
