Oh joy a new toy

So I had to see what all the hype was about. A lot of people are raving about the new umarex notos. So by chance I just happened to see one in a sporting goods catalog that came with something else I ordered. Well doom on me and having the credit to buy it so I did. I have to say umarex really has a good product with this little thing. I threw a scope on it and did some quick sighting in this evening and the little regulator was consistent between 819 and 821 feet per second. And yes the little rascal is very accurate. So I'm looking forward to breaking this one in quite quickly. And yes I would definitely recommend it it is an absolute fun little gun.

I shot one here a short time back and th only complaint I had with it was the trigger left much to be desired as it came from the factory.
Has anyone monkeyed with the trigger and cleaned it up? I realize we are not talking about a high end gun but it would be greatly improved with a better trigger.

yes, I'm really glad I got it. I was also able to score 10% off with an online coupon. So what optics do you have on yours? I can't use this scope with the rotary magazine so I'm going to have to replace it.

I've noticed that also. It's pretty firm with quite a bit of travel before the shot. I'm not too worried about it, but I am hoping with time it'll soften up a bit. Dunno

the 2 stage trigger on the notos can be made very acceptable.

screw in the screw in the trigger till the first stage wont reset on its own (with the gun cocked)

then back it out about a quarter turn,
that will make it a nice light first stage,
with a clean break on the second stage.

if you want to go even deeper,
a lighter weight spring in the trigger helps it also.

and only takes a few min to replace.

That makes it an attractive truck gun. I really liked the compact size and light weight.
Mount a semi decent compact scope on it and viola!!! Instant truck gun.

And polished up the hammer and trigger sear to get it to about 2lbs! It will never be target trigger but it's much better than factory. Shoots a bunch of different ammo good but really likes JSBs in 15.89 grain!

Sweet… Proving that Notos is a good pesting/hunting rig in the hands of a good shooter. Love the fact that you’re running it as a pesting rig. Nice. Keep it coming.

if it is, the PP750 would be more appealing to me due to the collapsible stock, and mod adapter to use your own can.

From what I understand it is similar.
Charging handle is on the opposite side and it's already regulated for a really fair price I think! And the moderator is very good in factory form! But for the guy who just has to tinker and change things up your probably right in getting the PP750.

thats most certainly what it is.

i do believe the 750 is lower powered,
specs seem to say around 550fps in .22

Yes, it’s lower power because it’s only available in Canada, but they can be tuned up to match the notos easily.
