Let's try again
Finally got a working supertact a while back.
Had a red dot on it bc I couldn't find a scope to fit
either they would not be short enough for breech clearance, not tall enough to clear the rear iron sight(I'm not gunna take it off), or I could get it mounted but it would be so far back that my eye reliefs were uncomfortable...and that's just a no go in anyone's book(I hope
)
So I finally thought hmmm...if hatsan makes this...they should make a scope that works with it as is.
Ha ...they do!
Aaànd I got it for less than 30 bones
Upon arrival I quickly got it mounted and saw the breech baaaaarely touch as I try to cock it
...fffffff!!!!....wait....
Whyyyyy.....OK I'm gunna take off the scope stop and it'll fit....as I take it off
...i realize one size is about half the length.....waaaait!!!!!....
The scope stop is reversible
Aha!!!
I flip it around. Mount scope.
Breech clears by a smooth 2-3mm
Yesssssss!!!!

So I snagged my backpack; stuffed some pellets, tools, targets, tape, etc. Grabbed the hatsan and bolted to the car for a river target showdown!!
Get there and it's wiiiiiindy....idc. I've come this far, no turning back!!
Setup a 35 and some at 50. Now if you are still reading; HEED MY WARNING: do NOT put your pellets on your vehicle roof(I did not spill them...no, a different ouch becomes of this bc of my approach). I proceeded to unleash lead as fast and furiously fun as possible but....
To block the wind I was grabbing a pellet, loading, then squating down and then slightly leaning back against the car....
I did that for about a tins worth of cphps before I realized my thighs were on fire bc I just tricked myself into doing almost 500 squats
Too bad I told my body....I'm out here and we are gunna be here longer. So instead of squating I just off handed for another tins worth of Excite Hammers(domed).
The hatsan scope never moved around on the rail. Super clear glass for what I paid really(looks like the glass inside my blackpowder scope-and its like a $150 scope if i remember right). I know the groups are not great but(insert excuses and whatnot) buuuuuut I was able to find a discarded c02 cartridge and hit it at 50 yards soI like it! That's what counts for me. It fits. It functions and it's fun. Hah...3fs
But I do give this combo an A+
